Introduction
Chemistry is the science of mixing elements and atoms together.
The idea evolved from alchemy, which was aimed at converting everyday metals into silver, gold and diamond – the valuable metals!
“If I found a way to convert metal into gold, I probably wouldn’t tell anyone!” Miley said.
“You’re probably right Miley,” Jeremy responded, “which is why to this day the profession of alchemy has been ‘unsuccessful’ – or so they say…”
