Introduction

Graphs are preferred to tabular form because it makes it easier to understand data.

Frequency histogram

A frequency histogram is a frequency distribution of rectangles, whose widths indicate class intervals, and whose heights correspond to particulate frequencies. For example, location (displacement) with respect to time:

The horizontal axis shows the time in seconds, and the vertical axis shows the displacement in meters.

Frequency line graph

A frequency line graph (also known as a polygon graph) is a graph which connects the plotted values of the graph with a broken line.
