Introduction

Selena Marie Gomez (born July 22, 1992) is best known for playing Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place from Disney Channel. From then, she has starred in TV movies as Another Cinderella Story, Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, and Princess Protection Program. Gomez made her theatrical debut in Ramona and Beezus. Selena has released such albums as Kiss & Tell and A Year WIthout Rain.

Selena Gomez is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and participated in such diverse events as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital “Runway for Life”.
